October 2007 – Carpetright plc is one of Europe's leading specialist carpet and floor covering retailers - trading from 402 stores and concessions in the UK and Republic of Ireland, as well as 89 stores across Holland and Belgium. In 2007, they launched 5 new rug ranges, made in India, bearing the Rugmark label, which are being sold throughout UK stores.

When Carpetright started rug ranges from India two years ago Carpetright chairman, Lord Harris, made the decision to work with RugMark. The new rug ranges proved to be very popular, and Carpetright went on to develop the styles, patterns and colours of the RugMark ranges in to what they are today.
